Warhawks For Christ

Warhawks for Christ is the campus ministry of the University church of Christ ministering to the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) campus.

ULM is a state university with approximately 10,000 students and is located in the eastern part of Monroe, Louisiana, a city whose metropolitan area population exceeds 100,000. University church of Christ is strategically located on the edge of the ULM campus. We believe God wants us to take an active role in reaching out to students in a one-on-one fashion as well as in a group setting,

Warhawks for Christ has two primary objectives: 1 - We aim to encourage and facilitate the spiritual growth of students who have previously committed their lives to following Christ; 2 - We strive to demonstrate and share God's love and grace, found in the Gospel, with all students on the campus of ULM.

WFC Events

Tailgate in The Grove - before every ULM home football game.
Dry Bones - a worship experience designed with the student in mind. Every Wednesday night we turn the lights down and the atmosphere up as we worship together "unplugged".
Fall Retreat
Bible Studies - In addition to regular worship services on Sundays, we will have small groups and individual studies at various times throughout the week.
Adopt-a-Student - Families from our congregation "adopt" WFC students, taking them out for lunch at least once a month, praying for their student, and helping them settle into Monroe in any way they can.
Men's Prayer Breakfast - Male students are invited to join the men of the University congregation in a time of fellowship and prayer.
Midnight Breakfast - Each semester during finals week on Tuesday. Come take a break from studying for some fellowship and free food.
Ski Trip - to Colorado every year during Mardi Gras break.
